Gu Li PhD
Postdoctoral fellow
Dr. Gu Li is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at SARAVYC. His research focuses on two broad themes: (1) the origin and development of sexual orientation, and (2) social settings and the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) individuals. At SARAVYC, Gu has been participating in different projects, studying LGBTQ-supportive school and community environment and the health of LGBTQ youth. He is also interested in cultural factors contributing specifically to the health of Asian LGBTQ youth.
Gu received his Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Cambridge in England, a M.S. in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona in the U.S., and a B.S. in Applied Psychology from Sun Yat-sen University in China.
